Anne Van is a lecturer in Women, Gender & Sexuality Studies at the Ohio State University. She has obtained a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Additionally, Anne holds a Master of Science in Ethnic Studies, a Master of Science in Women and Gender Studies from Minnesota State University-Mankato, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Women's, Gender and Sexuality Studies from The Ohio State University. Her most recent project discussed the continuance of racism and colorism against Black women in United States beauty culture.
