Ohio Prison Education Exchange Project receives 2022 Community Partnership Award

Every spring, the Ohio State Office of Outreach and Engagement honors faculty, staff, students and community partners engaged in scholarship that impacts the community.

The 2022 Community Engaged Scholar Award winners in the College of Arts and Sciences are:

  • Jeffrey Cohen, Professor of Anthropology
  • Hasan Jeffries, Associate Professor of History
  • Harvey Miller, Bob and Mary Reusche Chair in Geography, Director of the Center for Urban and Regional Analysis

The Ohio Prison Education Exchange Project, led by Tiyi Morris, associate professor of African American and African studies, and Mary Thomas, associate professor of women’s, gender and sexuality studies, received the 2022 Community Partnership Award.

SciDome, a planetarium in Newark directed by Michael Stamatikos, an associate professor of physics and astronomy, received the 2022 High Impact Program Award.
