Thank you for your interest in the 2nd Queer Practices, Places, and Lives Conference at OSU. This event was founded in memory Samuel Steward in 2012 and continues to be supported by the Samuel Steward Fund. We are excited to welcome scholars, faculty, staff, graduate students, undergraduate students, artists, activists, teachers, social workers, community members and interested in discussing LGBTQ issues to Columbus in May to begin our second conversation around queer practices, places, and lives.
Are you interested in volunteering to help make this conference a success? Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Scent-Free and Tobacco-Free Policy
The entire Queer Practices, Places, and Lives II conference is scent aware and smoke free. Please read our full policy here. Please keep it scent-free so everybody can show up and not have to leave due to chemical injury! Leave off perfume, cologne, essential oils and use fragrance-free detergent on your clothes. If you have a strong scent on your body, you may be asked to move or leave.
Gender Neutral Restrooms
We are dedicated to making this symposium accessible to all. Please contact us at email@example.com to let us know if you need special services, accommodations, or technology to ensure that you can fully take advantage of the event. Direct inquiries to Debra Moddelmog firstname.lastname@example.org or Joe Ponce email@example.com.
